Hard Times: My Small Contribution to MTS2's Post-Apocalyptic 5th Birthday Theme

Ok, so I made a couple of things to contribute to the awesome birthday theme this year. They are my first non-clothing downloads so don't laugh...I know it's a bit late, but birthday presents are still nice even late.



The first item I made is some dirty old sheets on a dirty old mattress, pretty self explanitory. It was inspired by Fiddledeedee's clutter from Half-Life2 set at GoS, and the general lack of dirty soiled bedding. I saw her decorative dirty mattresses at GoS and thought to myself "wouldn't it be cool if my sims could sleep on those?". I contacted her and she was nice enough to let me use the textures from that set. It is simply a bedding recolor, shown here with Atavera's Floor Mattress Bed which you can find here at MTS2. It looks cool on regular beds as well. I paired it with sheets from Maxis, made dirty by me. The bedding is basegame compatible.


The second item is from Fallout 3 itself. I don't play the game personally, but my friend does, and he suggested that I make this. It is a wall hanging of Revelation 21:6, that the main character's mother has hanging on the wall in her house. Pretty simple, but I wanted to do something no one else had done yet. The picture is a recolor of the "Red vs. Blue Oil Painting" wall hanging, and it is also basegame compatible.
