Creating the New Ideal PlantSims

step 1 create your sim in Bodyshop or you can use sims that are already in the game by
extracting them with this tutorial http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?
title=Game_Help:Extract_In-Game_Sim. Rename the .package file bodyshop made to something
understandable and move it to your project folder. Unrar all files from
IdealPlantsim_Template.rar and put it in your project folder.

step 2 Fire up SimPE and open the .package file that Bodyshop or the tutorial above
created . I recommend making a back up of the file, Just incase something goes wrong while
editing the sim. Make sure for this tutorial that the Plugin View is currently active. The
tab is at the bottom left of the window.

step 3 While in SimPE import all files that are from IdealPlantsim_Template.rar, Execpt
for Multi_PlantSim_Seasons-FT.package and Multi_PlantSim_AL.package files, Into your sim's
file. click on the Catalog Description, Located in the Resource Tree. Once the Catalog
Description is selected then click on Catalog Description located in the resource list,
And look at the Plugin View to Change the text "First Name Here" to what ever you would
like you sim's first name to be, Repeat with the text "Last Name here" that will be the
sim's last name. Make sure to press the commit button.

step 4 While still in SimPE click on the Object Data, Also located in Resource Tree. After
that click on "Full Name Here" located in the resource list. Once "Full Name Here" is
selected, Look at the Plugin View and Change the file name to the sim's full name. Then
while Full Name is still selected, Click "get guid" button to assign a new GUID to the
sim. Make sure to write down the GUID for each sim, You will need it later on. After
assigning the GUID make sure to check mark "update MMATs and commit", then press update
button(will be below the GUID button).

Rinse and repeat the process for each sim made.
Each sim needs it's own .package file. Make sure when done with each sim to save the file.
The sims themselves are done, Now I will show you how to get the game to detect the new
Ideal Plantsims.

Getting the game to Detect the new Ideal Plantsims

step 1 open with SimPE Multi_PlantSim_Seasons-FT.package, It should be located in your
project folder. If not extract it from IdealPlantsim_Template.rar

step 2 Again make sure you have the plugin view selected at the bottom left of the
window. Now click on Behaviour Function in the resourse tree, After that click on
"Interaction - Plantsim - Make Baby" in the resource list.

step 3 once Interaction - Plantsim - Make Baby is selected, Look for at the Plugin View
for 4 "Create New Object Instance"s with the GUIDs 0x005AC901,0x005AC902,0x005AC903,0x005AC904 and replace them with your 4 GUIDs. To Change
the GUIDs look at the right side of the Plugin View and find the Operands. Operands are
the white squares with a two digit number in each, There will 16 of them. Change the first
4 Operands to your GUID, And remember the GUID is reversed. For an example if your GUID is
12345678, Then you would input it as 78563412. Also remember each Operand only holds two
digits.

Step 4 Open with SimPE Multi_PlantSim_AL.package and repeat steps 2 and 3 in Getting the
game to Detect the new Ideal Plantsims.

Also remember Multi_PlantSim_Seasons-FT.package is to be used if you own expansions

Seasons to Free Time. And Multi_PlantSim_AL.package is only to be use if you own

expansions Apartment Life or the stuff pack Mansion & Garden. Only use one!
