Introduction
Alice Liddell is the protagonist of the games American McGee's Alice and Alice: Madness Returns, and is based off of Lewis Carroll's eponymous heroine from Alice in Wonderland. When she was a child, a fire destroyed Alice's home, killing her parents and sister. As a result, she became catatonic and was sent to Rutledge Asylum where she stayed for ten years. In order to save her own sanity, Alice had to face the horrors of a new and darker Wonderland that had become as twisted as her own mind.
