Testers wanted*** Coffee Table

Here's the first of three (apparently successful) efforts to make new meshes. Blood, sweat and tears I can tell you. This one was made with SimPE 31b so, I'm presuming, it's ep ready. I can't figure out how to make my things recolourable or ep ready. I find it hard enough keeping up with the rejiggings of SimPE and once, when I tried to make something recolourable I lost the object completely. So very easy to confuse me. But, I want to give back so here's a rip off from my catalogue produced by a very famous furniture company (I hope I'm not being watched incase I'm breaking intellectual copyright or something - not sure what the rules are there). It's quite high polygon - sorry. That's another thing I'm trying to figure out how to do (making low poly look high poly in game). Should anyone want to make it recolourable or reassure me that it's not causing problems with the ep then I'll gladly concede the credit for it - I just want to make things.

Back your stuff up first. I don't have the ep yet so I don't know what it will do.

Updated version, now recolourable and with four recolours to get you started. Now it has an indoor shadow that I tinkered with to make it lighter and less like the scraps ranch shadow which had different legs. Because I remeshed and remapped this it's ever so slightly bigger (longer) but, don't worry, it doesn't cut into walls or other furniture. And it's definately ep ready. And it hasn't caused problems in my game so I think it's safe. If you got the older version it won't be overwritten so remove the old one if you don't want to keep it.

23rd April Update

the NewBuskbo package is a lighter version of the original, it won't overwrite the original - so you can check them side by side to see which is better. There are three recolours in the new package. The comparisons are:

Scraps ranch coffee table that they were cloned from: 416 Polygons
Old 'Rodney' table (why ?Rodney): 9160 Polygons
New Buskbo table: 1576 Polygons
!! I'm perfecting my technique! But three days work! Those darned Boolean operations!

The legs are slightly more 'delicate' (six sided cylanders rather than something like 12 in the original). On the left: Old coffee table, right: new one. See what you think.
