Here are the baby dragons from the Sims 3 Store converted for use in the Sims 2. They are based on the birds that came with Pets. I also converted the bird cage from Sims 3, as I thought it looked much nicer with the dragons.

The download contains six recolours for the cage, plus my base one:

The dragons come in the same four forms as the originals did: green/red/violet and armoured black dragon:

They work just like the birds do; your sims can teach them to talk and will learn Charisma and they will have to feed them/clean the cage regularly. The cage does not have a visible dirty state however (I just could not imagine what dragon droppings would look like ^^.

I also included a clone of the pet food box, so dragons will receive their own brand of food. I tried to stick close to the original recolours.

Known Issues: Since the build of the dragons' wings is different than that of the birds in Sims 2 the animation is unfortunately far from perfect. I tried to minimise the issues, but I am not good enough with bone assignments to really achieve a great result. If you have the skills you are very welcome to try and fix them. I would really appreciate to hear from you in that case, so I can put up a link here and let everybody know.

There are two different versions of this download:
1) Contains the edited dragon. You will want this for game play.
2) The dragon file in this is unedited, i.e. has the original unaltered wings. I place it here mainly as a resource.

Credits: The dragons were extracted by Hafiseazale . All textures used are from Sims 2/3 with exception of the food box.

Very special thanks: to HugeLunatic who helped me with the custom food box; Hafiseazale for extracting and sharing the files; Almight Hat and TheRaven who helped with bone assignments and everybody on GOS/Tumblr (and the Kitten) who encouraged me.

If you discover any problems, please, let me know.
