Jupiter of Smyrna

Dated from the middle of the 2nd century AD, this statue was discovered in 1680 in Smyrna, present-day Izmir in Turkey, and sent to Louis XIV for Versailles.
Garnier's addition of the lightning-wielding right arm around 1686 transforms the figure, possibly originally an Asclepius, into a Jupiter.
The statue is currently conserved by the Louvre Museum in Paris.

I made this statue from a free 3D model I found on the Internet. I reduced significantly the number of faces, built an UV map, normal map and textures.
