This is my first upload so be gentle. lol
I want to try my hand at creating sims clothing and hair styles and thought I would first try to create a CAS screen to see how easy or hard it was.
Thanx to MikeInside's CAS Modding Tutorial, that I found here at Mod The Sims 2 and also to Pistachio AKA Kate at Parsimonious who figured out if you have the expansion pack you have to replace the file in 2 places. Thank you both very much.
You have to have the expansion pack to use this CAS screen. There are no custom content so there is no shopping list to go hunt. Basically it is made of the wall length mirror so that you can get different angles of your sims without having to turn them around while creating them. I added the water fountain for a great animation effect that looks really great!!!!!
I love the hair styles part the best. Being able to see the back is too cool. especially with some of the really neat mesh's that everyone is creating, you can see how the longer styles look.
Below are the instructions to get your new CAS screen operational:
UPDATE JUNE 30TH-After some testing and having others test it for me also, Thanx to Veronasky the installation of the CAS is really so much simpler then we made it out to be........ SIMPLY DOWNLOAD THE CAS TO YOUR DOWNLOAD FOLDER, No crashes, No Fuss, No Muss & It Works Great!!!!
Thank You, Thank You Thank You Veronasky!!!!!!!
Start up your game and go to make a sim. It should work and you will have a mirror room too.
It works great in my game. Let me know if you experience any problems.
You must have the expansion pack because of the content that I used comes from University.
ENJOY!! :howdy:
