This is my first real custom content for Sims 2, and my first post on MTS2, so please be gentle.
This is a conversion of the Sims 1 Circus Career Track from the Unleashed expansion (actually my favorite expansion for Sims 1 out of the ones I own), I've written new chance cards for all 10 levels, so if the chance cards aren't up to snuff, blame me. The career has a unique GUID and is based off of Athletic. I followed Psion's great tutorial, and used Bidou's career editor plugin for SimPE, so thanks to all those people. Please inform me of any bugs or typos I may have missed.
All skill point requirements and job descriptions match the Unleashed career, but pay has doubled to more bring it in line with other Sims 2 Careers. The 10 levels are:
1 Popcorn Vendor
2 Ticket Taker
3 Midway Carnie
4 Sideshow Barker
5 Clown
6 Human Cannonball
7 Acrobat
8 Trapeze Artist
9 Lion Tamer
10 Ringmaster
Comments and feedback are certainly welcome. It has a custom icon which I converted & slightly smushed from Sims 1, then made to match all other Sims 2 career icons, so you won't see an ugly out of place icon. The career reward is set to the candy factory, dunno if you actually get it since I have yet to play it all the way through..
I was planning on doing a Teen/Elder version of this, but because I have a supreme lack of imagination (hence the whole converting a career from another game) I couldn't think up any job titles for them. So if anyone has any ideas for a teen version, please share them and I may just do it.
