Important: Although this can run without 3rd party mods, more interactions are enabled if you have either or both of the following:Note: Everything requires Vampire Lore Level 9 before they can appear/be crafted.

Description:

Blood-sucking is nice & all, but for those sims that either shy away from all that, or are a little lazy to go hunting/asking for blood, or even those that just simply want to put their culinary skills to use for more than the plasma fruit salad alone, this is the mod for them!


Manual Installation
Be sure to remove any previous files from older versions.

Just unzip the contents of either zip files into your Sims 4 mod folder.
You can place it into subfolders to a certain extent, as there's no script files.

In windows, it will typically look something like:
C:\Users\<Your User Profile>\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods

For max OSX, it should look like:
Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods

  • Fixed issues with planting the red plasma fruit, updated the red plasma fruit & plant tunings.
  • Added Red Plasma BLT, and Red Plasma Grilled Cheese. The latter is compatible with Grilled Cheese Aspiration.

  • Fixed Plasma coffee recipes not requiring plasma fruits to make them.
  • Fixed Hot Cocoa and some espresso coffee drinks overriding their original recipes in the restaurant menu.

v1.5 (2025-04-11)
  • Added many new drinks, with a focus on drinks with red plasma fruit. 12 bar drinks, 6 coffees, 3 bubble teas, and 5 drinks for various trays.
  • Added in many asian dishes. Roughly 17 new additions, including 2 more dishes from City Living, and the Tiger Shrimp from Dine Out.
  • Of those asian dishes, 5 dishes (including 2 dishes from City Living and 2 dishes from For Rent) have been added to the Pressure Cooker from For Rent.
  • 4 more new experimental dishes from Dine Out added.
  • 5 types of plasma wedding cakes added, totalling 9 across the different swatches.
  • 13 Baked goods added, including 7 on the cupcake machine.
  • Added plasma Yorkshire Pudding, Flirty Heart Plasma Cookies, and Plasma Delight Cupcakes.
  • Fixed the name for the Teaset with the dark swatches.
  • "Exotic Plasma Fruit Charcuterie" now requires 1 regular plasma fruit, and 1 red plasma fruit. Apologies for the inconvenience of that.
  • Plasma Pho & Mapo tofu now require level 2 cooking skill.
  • Added "Purchase Plasma Romantic Items" on computer (in Vampire Secrets category), and on phone (in Shopping category).
  • Removed "Plasma recipes will now require at least 1 plasma fruit (purple or red) either in the fridge or in the selected sim's inventory before they'll appear".
v1.4 (2024-11-19)
  • Added Plasma Jam.
  • Added Red Plasma Fruit, along with red plasma salad, red plasma jane (called scarlet plasma jane), and red plasma nectar.
  • Added 24 new plasma recipes, including 12 red recipes.
  • Added waffle recipes.
  • Added in phone option to buy Vampire Goods, which is based on items that become available on the computer as well.
  • (Purple) Plasma Egg Benedict's restaurant name was still incorrectly the original name. Now it should have plasma in its restaurant name.

v1.31 (2024-09-22)
  • Removed custom consume tuning from most recipes, except Plasma Soup & Plasma Fruit Slices. Unfortunately, this means all affected recipes will trigger "Withered Stomach" weakness.
  • Removed "_DINE_OUT" and "_SEASONS" package files, consolidating them into the food recipes package.
  • Override file for the original Plasma Fruit Salad is removed. If you still want to use it, look for the v1.3 download.
v1.3 (2024-09-20)
  • Added in lots of new plasma Drinks for vampire sims. From bar drinks, to tea.
  • Plasma items will be bought from the Vending Machine separately from other items. It will appear once the sim has Level 9 Vampire Lore skill.
  • Plasma Bubble Tea can be bought from the Bubble Tea Counter, or made at home if the counter is bought.
  • Tea Magic Brewer, Drinks Fountain, Vintage Glamour's Globe bar, Spa Day's Drinks Tray, and Wedding Stories' Tea Set all have plasma options.
  • A dark cc version of the Wedding Stories English Tea Set has also been included, with 4 swatches.
v1.2 (2024-08-05)
  • Added in Crown Roast as a Grand Meal recipe. Will require homestyle cooking level 7 to unlock, similar to the requirement in the original recipe.
  • Added in "Quick Plasma Food or Drink" recipe category to fridges & the recipes tome.
  • Added in Plasma Fruit slices as a Quick (Plasma) Meal item.
  • Experimental Plasma Recipes will no longer show up on the plasma menu pie option in fridges & regular stoves; Will only display on chef stations.
  • Plasma Recipes Tome can now be placed into bookshelves, but only manually.
  • Recipes in the Plasma Recipes Tome can be selected even when the tome is in the sim's inventory.
  • Vampire sim children should be able to consume any plasma food recipes added or affected by this mod without getting sick.

  • "Plasma recipes" option on fridges/stoves have increased priority, so they should display at front (except if there are multiple modded options with higher priority).
  • "Plasma-Glazed Ham Dinner"'s cook-name was "Cook Grand Plasma & Ham Dinner", corrected it to "Cook Grand Plasma-Glazed Ham Dinner"
  • Experimental meal string is displaying incorrectly as "Cook an Experimental Meal". It should now show properly as "Make an Experimental Plasma Recipe".
  • Changed string "Make Plasma Recipe with..." to "Make Group Plasma Recipe...".
  • Added in Vampire Lore requirement to Experimental Meal option.
  • Recipe Tome will show plasma recipes options greyed out (similar to upgrade options), if sim does not have enough vampire lore skill. Other objects (eg. fridge, stoves) will still hide options & category if not enough vampire lore.
  • Vampire Bat icon added to plasma recipe options, to make it more obvious they pertain to vampire-related things.
  • Added in support for optional overriding of plasma foods, so that they are exempt from "Withering Stomach" vampire weakness. Thanks laurelie!
  • Included override for the original plasma fruit salad, which will increase the thirst sate value from 18 -> 65, and make it possible to be exempt from "Withering Stomach" vampire weakness via the previous point. File can be deleted if another mod/override is preferred.
  • Fixed tuning conflicts, and compatibility issues.
