I loosely based this on a real life museum, The Gibbes Museum of Art. The building is called Waterside's as right now it just belongs to this town but can of course be renamed to any city of your choosing.

There are several structural differences of course that were both out my experience level and just didn't have the energy for. There are other differences as well, like as far as I remember there isn't a gift shop. I made several business setups so it's possible to buy/own this as a legit business but be fair warned, this is very, very, very, expensive. ($470k) So you won't be able to actually buy those souvenirs as far as I know without mods or purchasing the building itself. The Gibbes Museum, as far as I know, also doesn't have a restaurant on their third floor, nor an art studio, those and others I took liberties on.

Walk Through:

1 From the bottom left is an empty room for you to do with as you will. In my game it will be showcased by local artists of the town.

2 The entrance hallway has a couple of interactive things for your Sims to see and do. Like a photo booth and the "Big Ol' Glory" Tree Ring. At the end of the hall is an elevator to quickly take you to all three floors.

3 The bottom right Is the information desk. It won't be functional/just decorative without mods but don't ask me which. There are bathrooms to the left of the that and an non-functional gift shop behind the desk. In theory you could create a curator to own and take care of the building who lives off site, thereby making the gift shop more functional and raise money to keep it running.

4 On both sides on back of the first floor are steps leading to the second floor. There are sculptures and a couple of paintings in this area too.

5 The second floor is mainly wall art, a couple of statues and a few couches. There are two spiral staircases and the elevator to lead to the third floor.

6 On the left side are two art classes, painting and sculpting. Instructor's do not spawn but it is possible to get creative with it. The art studio is child/toddler friendly. The middle is an area to play chess, not an art related feature but thought would be fun neither the less. There is a den with two bookcases, and a fireplace.

7 On the right side is a barista, a bar, and a restaurant. Being a community lot, all NPC's autonomy spawn.

And lastly....
I used as little CC as possible. I used OMSP's, an extra slot for the ShowMeOff Rack Of Glory, and string lights for the restaurant walls.

I hope you enjoy it. I play tested it and everything seemed functional.
