A new crane machine for your Sims arcades! Can they collect all 12 Simmi figurines?

This arcade machine is based on Electria's 3T2 conversion, but with plenty changes, including making it easier for creators to make their own machines. Like Electria's machine, it is fully animated, with sound effects and Simlish voice lines from TS3.

The Simmies Crane Machine contains collectable figurines with 12 different designs, representing characters from MySims, The Sims Medieval and The Sims 4. Some are more common than others, with the elusive Medieval Grim being the rarest. They all share one GUID. This technique uses a Lua script from Freetime, so this expansion pack is required. University is also required for the arcade globals.

I made lots of changes to Electria's original crane machine.

Changes for players to be aware of:
  • 3T2 trait support - being lucky or unlucky will affect the outcome of the game.
  • Games enthusiasm earned while playing.
  • Arcade Globals used so no step-stool patch is required if you use the colour trait stool.
  • PickNMixSims' Money Globals used to pay the lot owner for playing.
  • Reduced the machine to one GUID.

Changes for modders to be aware of:
  • Core package created with animations and sounds. Clone my machine and feel free to include the core package with yours 😊
  • Sounds integrated into Sim and object animations.
  • Object animations tweaked to allow any item that fits in a deco slot ('height' 11) to be a prize.
  • Mesh edited and remapped.
  • BHAVs rewritten from scratch to be easier to follow.
  • BCONs added for tuning, including an easy way to add prizes.
