Although this hack replaces "Nanny" with "Sitter" the nanny is available through the sitter dialog.

To use this, install and then click on the phone "Services/Sitter". A neighbor phone book will appear with some appropriate choices for a sitter, including a couple of NPCs. Your selected sim will appear on the lot immediately and begin to behave just like any other selectable sim (except that they don't have to worry about going to work).

Sitters take a flat $50 fee for each time they come over, and when they are done they revert to the normal mode (unselectable) for visiting.

This hack will almost certainly conflict with other Social Worker hacks, considering I had to change the Social Worker code a little (plus, the social worker controller now helps control the sitters as well). I am not aware of any other hacks that conflict with this one.

Fixed some faulty code in the car global modification. Should now work with Pescado's "sshack" properly.

Nanny service available in Sitter dialog (select the nanny's name/icon).

Dialog should display normal message for UK or other non-US Sims 2 games.

Teens are filtered out of the dialog except at 1pm to 8pm (13:00 to 20:00).

Added sitter "at work" icon (in the selection skewer).

Should not conflict with selected (using Merola's mind control mirror or the InSIMenator selector) visitors or teleported sims.

Sitters can now use the crib and the changing station. Sitters also receive a mutual relationship boost.

Possible workaround for "Too Many Iterations" error. Hiring a sitter satisfies the "Hire a Nanny" want.

NEW: Fixed for Nightlife.

*** The "nosw" version of this hack disables unscheduled visits from the social worker. ***

I've only tested this a few times, so there's bound to be a number of issues. I suspect if you are using a sitter at 6pm the sitter will age a day, but I haven't tested this just yet.

I also noticed one of the paperboys I tried to hire ran away before I had a chance to notice him. I'm still investigating what causes that.
