I was listening to the audiobook of Pride and Prejudice while I was driving today and got to the chapter where Elizabeth is yelling at Darcy. I suddenly had an image in my head of them arguing as Sims and her suddenly doing the violent face slapping and almost ran myself off the road laughing.

Last night I had a bizarre dream where my Sim kept changing songs on the stereo. Then there was something about a lithium battery exploding (there was recent news about a fire caused by that in my province) and then a blue whale falling from the sky. It was confusing.

Oh no, not again!

I had a very long convoluted dream the details of which almost immediately got themselves mixed up in my head when I woke; but there was definitely a segment about one of those reality/game/romance shows with competing teams of three, and one of the teams consisted of Candy, Rhett, and Goldie Hart of Widespot. Whatever the show's shtick was, their father Valentine was coaching them through it, but I think this was ruled unfair and he was thrown out? They were all real people and sims simultaneously and, this being a dream, that was normal.

Last night I was decorating a neighborhood, but it was a neighborhood I could move around in physically in neighborhood view, that had already been started by somebody else. I had two bags: one full of neighborhood deco, another full of pieces that could be used to construct various buildings as neighborhood deco. There was a lot of custom content in the neighborhood deco bag and it was all jumbled together. The best one was the easiest to find because it was the biggest: a bridge with a giant fantasy-Calvin (as in Calvin and Hobbes) rampaging on it while tanks shot at him from either end. So I placed that; but I had a dock area to decorate and I could not find the boats, not even little sailboats, let alone big cargo haulers or passenger liners or tugboats, and I was getting very frustrated. So I gave up trying to find the boats and started looking for warehouses, and I couldn't find them, either. As for the pieces, they were very neatly arranged and brightly colored and I couldn't see how to put them together into what I wanted, at all.
