This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Default NRaas Error Trap: Array index is out of range
My active household has 9 sims plus 3 plumbots and each of them got one Bright Sprite Holo Disc (12 totally).
Every couple of days, when they started to interact with the sprites and one of the sims or plumbots will get the script error as below:
System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Array index is out of range.
#0: 0x0003e ldelem.ref in Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.HobbiesSkills.HoloDisc+CheckMood:OnShowBalloon
This is quite annoying because the sim or plumbot is reset immediately. I have tried to reset my sims, reset the Holo Discs, reset everything in town and buy a new Holo Disc but no luck.
Is this caused by over 8 sims household or too many Holo Discs in the active household?
Any idea to solve this? Thanks in advance.
P.S. I'm sorry that my living region is blocked by the site of NRaas. I can only ask for help here. Thanks again.

You are right here about having too many members in one household. When you bypass this limit (8 max), the game starts to glitch during specific animations. Best thing you can do is to reduce family members is to move some of them in the neighboring empty house equaly (6 members in the first house and 6 members in the other), or 8 in the first and 4 in the second.

Reducing the number of Holo disks and stop their autonomous usage and purchase with Nraas Retuner might be temporary solution, but this can't guarantee that the game won't stop glitching while having too many household members.

Thanks for your reply.
My sims used to check their sprites after waking up daily. However, I wonder why this error didn't occur every time and seems to be randomly.

Attach any ScriptError logs to a reply (scroll down to the Upload button) and I can take a look at them for you.

In the future, you're welcome to request manual access from the NRaas site owner.
Send any information requested on the block screen to chainreaction@nraas.net and he'll get back to you when time allows.

Played for a few sims day and the error finally occurred.
I also noticed that the error occurred while any sims in active household formed a group mostly. But the sim triggered the error may be not in the group.
I attached the ScriptError logs and thanks for your help in advance.

  • Download a fresh copy of Smooth Patch - the MasterController compatibility file is no longer required in the latest version.
  • Several of your NRaas mods are also outdated, but that makes sense if you can't access the site for now. If you ever get access, GoHere, Overwatch, StoryProgression, Traveler, and Woohooer would all benefit from updating.
  • The specific error attached doesn't seem to be the same one as the HoloSprites - this one is a routing error from the LLAMA portal object. This error is suspected to be caused by a tuning mod - our only suspect so far is Twoftmama's Routing Fix. Alternatively, deleting any LLAMA in the world will also prevent the error.
  • Unfortunately, it will be hard to give further advice on any other errors - MonoPatcher mods and Simler90's Core Mod are unsupported with the NRaas mods, so the only other advice I can give if the HoloSprite issue returns would be to remove those and see if it resolves.

I hope at least some of this will be helpful

Thanks for your advice and I'm sorry that I uploaded a wrong file previously. Please help to check with the attached file.
For the MonoPatcher and Simler90's Core Mods, maybe you're right. But I've got this error before I installed these two mods.
Thanks again.

The Check Mood interaction wants to display a notification about the sprite's current need but can't because it no longer has one. It looks like this can happen if the need times out while this interaction is already running. If this error doesn't occur every time the interaction is used, this is most likely the case and is nothing to worry about. I would simply set this interaction to not autonomous via nraas Retuner.
