I don't use any neighbourhoods other than my own, so, no, I don't have a recommendation. If you compare the coastline of some neighbourhoods you might find one that would work -- street level would need to be about the same height above sea level, and the street about the same distance from the shore, in order for the lot to work.

I downloaded this lot and have custom content enabled, but for some reason the water does not show up. There's a huge terrain "lump" in the backyard where the water should be, according to your screenshots. However, my Sims can still swim in it and even display the "grandmotherly style" of swimming.

I don't know, I just thought that was strange.

Check that you don't have any outdated/broken neighbourhood water mods in your game (there's one by niol that only works in Seasons and earlier I believe). That could be a reason for neighbourhood water to not show up (has been reported by several post-Seasons users in my "Elsewhere" thread, see link in my signature).

Also, when you upgrade from Seasons to BV, you may find that Seasons has borked your neighbourhood terrain in a way that is only visible in BV an later. See the "Elsewhere" thread for more info + how to fix it.

Ahh, okay.

Well, I redownloaded it and placed it in Middleground this time. It snapped right on.

But is it supposed to have this much water?
