super cute! But they refuse to work as apartments =/ I did the whole "changelotzoning aparmentbase" but it just says there is a problem with the blocks and wont work. Anyone else having this problem? T_T They are just too cute to give up on.

Try this:

1.Change the front doors into apartment doors.

2.Build a patio with foundation on the backyard. There must be a fence around it! Look at this tutorial for pictures, what you should do:

3.Then press ctrl + shift + c, type in : changelotzoning apartmentbase.


P.S There is a invisible fence here at modthesims2. It might be usefull for building apartments. (It is my understanding that surtain areas must be surrounded with fences for lots to work). You can find the fence from here: http://www.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=219292

SimsBoyPL: I don´t know what to do to this roof. It is excatly the same as in my rowhouse. Only the angle is different. Ok, I did put a different roof over the entrance, but there was no choice. BaseGame doesn´t allow me to change the angle and the game says the roof is too hevy, when I try to build it over the door. Like in the rowhouse.

I am unable to change this lot into an apartment also, I have done everything you have said (replace front door with al door and remove gates in back garden, chagelotzoning etc) yet it says it is an invalid apartment. :S

The problem must be the fact that this house is on foundation! Not on the ground. There are two things that should work:

1. Delete the backdoor from all the apartments.

Or

2. Leave the backdoors and build a deck (patio using foundation tools) at the garden.

This should solve the problem!

Remember also to check your guide that came with your expansion pack! It will tell you what types of rules there are for apartments.
