You do beautiful work. Can you please tell my how you make the apartments? I tried but it stayed just a house. I Couldn't find the mail box either lol.

You have to use the apartment doors and there should only be these doors to the outside. Then you have to open the cheat console with "crtl - shift - c" and type changelotzoning apartmentbase - when it doesn't say error you should now see the mail box. After that just save and you see the apartment icon over the building in the neihbourhood and can use it as apartments.

I keep getting errors. I only have the one door leading outside and it is the right door, but it still gives errors and I don't know what I am doing wrong.

I am playing this lot in my neighbourhood for many sim days now and have no errors with it. Have you changed something on the lot? If so maybe that would be the problem. It wouldn't have let me convert it into an apartment lot, if there were any problems. Then the game gives an error. So the lot works fine.
