If you'll notice, the same thing happens with the Maxis counters as well. When you think about it, it's more realistic. I've never seen a counter that has drawer with a sink.. there's no where for the 'drawer' to go when you would close it. Generally at most, there are 'dummy drawers' or panels that are purely decorative.

I could very well be wrong about all of this, but it's the way it seems to me. :p

I've tried to make countertops but have never had success when the sink is placed in them. They always revert to the default 'wrapper'. I eventually gave up. If you've found a way around this, I would love to know about it!
