This is really pretty. I was looking for a vacation home for Takemizu Village not long ago, and couldn't find one that fit, and this is just the kind of house I was looking for. Thanks a lot for sharing it

Has the uploaded lot ever been inhabited by Sims?

Hi Gummilutt thanks for your comment! By the way, the house is totally brand new. I just made it and uploaded it here

Hi, thank you for making this! I always love anything Asian-themed, and this is absolutely beautiful. I'll also be using this as a vacation home for Takemizu Village. :)

I realize this is many years later, but I finally got around to actually using the lot, and I wanted to let other people know this lot is currently unplayable. I'm guessing the creator did not play-test a separate copy, and thus missed the fact that the stairs connecting the house to the front does not touch the ground, and as such your sims can't go up the stairs and reach the house. It's easily fixed by raising the ground on the first 2 squares and re-placing the steps, so on the plus-side it's an easy fix. You also need to re-do the roof over the patio with the tea table, as Sims can't go down the stairs to get to it, because the roof is blocking them. It's a shame because it looks much nicer with a roof over the whole thing, and I suppose you could leave it and just use teleport to get there (assuming your Sims can beat the ninja) but for me Sims should be able to get around by foot so I had to move the roof away from the stairs.

Everything else works great though as far as I can tell, so just those two build-related elements you may want to be prepared to fix if you intend to use it

Creations can be found on my on tumblr.
