Yes, both mods modify the same resource files to affect the weather in all of the worlds. It's either this mod OR the other.

This should be working with the new patch as EA doesn't change the weather files.

If it is going to be true to a RW Mediterranean climate, fall and winter are cool and rainy (particularly late fall to early winter), chance of rain more or less stops after early spring, and summers are hot, sunny, and dry.

Taking a chance a response might be received, any chances of an update for this mod? I know there are other mods now, but this seems like the simplicity of what I'm looking for without going all out. I just want a little touch of realism. Thanks in advance if you do respond.

Sorry I don't plan to update the mod anymore as I no longer play the sims 4. However please feel free to update the mod yourself and even upload if you want. Luckily, this mod should still work with the current patch as EA doesn't change the weather files, however it won't work with new worlds, which will have their original weather.

to update the mod yourself download sims 4 studio then click on tools in the drop down menu and extract tuning.
Search for one of the following tunings:
weatherForcastList_Summer weatherForcastList_Fall weatherForcastList_Winter weatherForcastList_spring

once you select the ones you want it will create a package file.

Then you will see many lines such as <T n="forecast">183168<!--forecast_Rain_Storm_Warm--></T>
to edit how likely it will occur add the following below <T n="weight">2</T> where the number is how likely the weather can occur.
If you don't want a weather type at all just delete the line such as <T n="forecast">183168<!--forecast_Rain_Storm_Warm--></T>.

If you want a new weather type copy a line like the one above from another weatherForcastList from a different city or season.

Hope this helps.
