Looking forward to fin 2! Although I don't see this custom tail in the male fins while in mermaid CC, it simply isn't there. Could you recheck the categories?

It looks like I ticked only 'masculine' instead of 'masculine' and 'male'.

Sorry for that! I have updated the file.

Thank you for the swift reply and fix! As I said I love these, can't wait for the second tail. <3

UPDATE: Actually, it seems you now disabled it for females. :<

Indeed it did, I am not sure why it was switching between the two; but I used sims 4 cas tools instead of studio to change it to be for -both-.
(I tried it a couple more times in studio and it still switched between the two for whatever reason ) Thank you for your patience.

I have opened the package several more times in both S4 Studio and S4 CAS Tools and they both say that they are enabled for female and males.

Please let me know if there are any more problems!

I also apologize for the stress, I am but a content consumer. But I'm glad you got it all fixed, I just had another look and it is indeed available to all as intended. Again thank you for the quick response and the effort!

Heya! So I tested it and found out that my mermaids are now using human animation when swimming around instead of mermaid's

===
EDIT:
It's solved out by going to land then go back to water. Sorry for false alarm!

I have this happen with maxis tails too - except that they will still have their tail on land and walk with it.

Sometimes the game is just a little slow with the transition - or forgets to transition!

No need to be sorry !

This looks amazing! I haven't played the EP yet, but the side fins looked kinda annoying and this fixes that completely. Looking forward to you expanding on this!

Thank you for creating mermaid tails without the side fins, I really like them. However, there seems to be a graphical error when using them on male sims. The tail doesn't quite seem to fit to the body, with some weird discolorations. It is most noticible when you make the Sim either maximum fat or fit. As I am normally running mods, I've tried it without any mods except your two mermaid tails, but that didn't solve the issue.

I've taken screenshots and posted them here:

Thank you for your feedback and providing screenshots! I have a feeling that this may be an issue with the bone weights and assignments. I am not sure how to fix those manually but I do know that Cmar is working on an update to Sims 4 CAS Tools which includes auto assignments for mermaid tails. So I will update these tails when that rolls out. I will see if the original fins have the same problems but if they do I definitely will not be able to fix it.
Thank you again for your feedback and I am so sorry I didn't think to test the fat and fit states!

Thank you, let's hope the updated version of the CAS Tools solves the problem when it comes out. Just to be clear: The graphical error does not only happen with a maximum fit or fat sim like in my screenshots, but at any fit or fat level. It is just less clear when the sim is not at either maximum level. Also, the problem doesn't seem to happen for female sims.
