Absolutely love the piano. This is a nice alternative to the space hogging grand and the too modern keyboard. Thanks so much for sharing, the mod and the history of the piano.

Why do pianos go on an inside wall?

This is perfect for the saloon i'm making. The only complaint I have is that it is a bit too shiny for the texture that it appears to have. Otherwise, amazing!

They normally remain more stable near an inner wall. Like people the don't like extremes of temperature and humidity. Next to a cold outside wall or in sunlight they will go out of tune much faster. Over the long term the wrestplank (pin block in the US) may dry out too much and no longer hold the tuning pins tight. Addditionally excessively cold or damp air negatively effects the wooden action parts as well as the sound board and in extreme cases can be the death of a piano if the sound board looses its "crown". Meaning that the board itself looses very slight inward curve, thus the "down-bearing" is lost and the result is a very weak tone.
Sorry a bit of a tech-y answer!

That's a fair observation. I'm making a grand at the moment, so I will bear it in mind
Cheers

Nope. Best ever answer! <3

Thank you so much for the response. I love learning new things. My sim only needs another $4500 to buy the piano.
