I didn't say it under last 2 posts but I'll most likely use these to fix my beginning hoods (mostly for private use) cuz ones avalible online are less accurate owo

Sorry for the late reply. You may want to try reinstalling your winrar. I downloaded the file fine just now with no issues, so it seems it's a problem on your end.

I like your version of these ancestors, pretty accurate. I'm using them on my fixed Veronaville. Thank you!

Hey, ever since I saw this, I was thinking of making a Veronaville like 50ish years ago with these sims, soo I was wondering if I could use them if ever get to it? I love how accurate all of these are

Nice, do you plan on doing the same with the other ep neighborhoods?

Sorry I've a problem: I've downloaded the "veronaville extra sims" and I installed them via Clean Template: I checked everything: face presets, CAS, the neighbourhood sims container but I cannot see anything. The installation had no problem and the files are in the correct folder (download) and in the correct format (package). I cannot know what to do...

@http_error404 : Are you sure you're looking in the right place? You can find them either in Body Shop or in CAS. In Body Shop you'll find them under Build Sims -- Build or Clone Sims. Typically they'll be between any Sims you've made yourself in Body Shop and Sims made by Maxis.

In CAS (Create a Family) choose a Sim of the right age and sex (e.g. Female Teen for Viola Monty) and then in Step 1 (button 1 at the side) click on the Choose Existing Sim button (icon is 6 Sims). Again you'll find these Sims between any Sims you've made yourself in Body Shop and ones made by Maxis and supplied with the game.

To get these Sims into a neighbourhood, you have to save them to the neighbourhood as part of a family in CAS.

All Sims are beautiful -- even the ugly ones.

I would like to revive these Sims and resurrect them in-game, but I'm not sure I have all the information on how it's done, and I'm afraid it might corrupt the game. The same thing goes for the ancestral Pleasantview and Strangetown Sims. Will you give out visual step-by-step instructions, or at least let me know how to install these Sims? Thanks.

There is a guide on the wiki here. It's a pretty simple process and it wouldn't corrupt your game.

The dead sims in the ep neighborhoods don't need to be recreated as Maxis didn't delete their character data.

As you may know the only way to fix the pre-mades using broken face templates is to recreate their appearance from scratch. So I was wondering if maybe you could post really good fixed recreations of those sims? Currently the only fixed recreations I know of are the MeetMe recreations, but some of those are pretty inaccurate. If you were to do this, then you would also need to do the downtownies as they are only nonplayable sims Maxis gave faces that are not just the unchanged face templates.

It's something I could consider, but right now I've got some bigger fish to fry (irl stuff and such). Also, the computer with my Sims 2 stuff is having some issues, and I haven't been able to get it working for some time now.

Hello! Will you continue to restore old sims faces?
For example, I see that you did not do the old face of Hermia Capp, which can be seen in the file #0x7f503eae!age3_0_gmdc
Same with Cornwall in 0xed5cf0cf_age4_0_gmdc
Titania's data is pretty messy, but look at #0x7fb0fd1d!age4_0_gmdc face too - it's a little different in chin/jaw area, same with Oberon in #0x7f671c5a!age3_0_gmdc and Regan in 0xed5cf0cc_age4_0_gmdc

Idk if other characters still have such faces, I have not checked this yet

Thank you for such a great job, it is very valuable

It's very cool to see the first versions of the Sims, it's funny that back then they were much similar to each other, albeit much less attractive

I looked into some of those files already, and I thought they weren't any different. I might've been mistaken so I'll have another look.

EDIT: Ok, I was DEFINITELY mistaken. I've just finished Hermia, Cornwall, and Regan, but cannot upload them just yet due to time. Oberon will probably be next and I'm not sure if Titania is worth doing as I really don't see much of any difference if there is one. I should note that some sims have extra GMDC data, but it's not different from their final appearance.

EDIT2: It seems both Oberon and Titania have the exact same faces and perhaps only had their formats/values/instances updated.

Edit3: Just uploaded the three sims mentioned in the first edit.

Yes, it seems that they have no differences, but I noticed that the jaw is a little wider and the chin is longer. For example, Titania for age4

1 - #0x7fb0fd1d!age4_0_gmdc
2 - all other faces

similar situation i noticed in age3 between #0x7fb0fd1d!age3_0_gmdc and other faces.

But, I'm also not sure if this difference is a corruption of the old file (I'm not very good at it) or if it's really a slightly different shape.

I tried to replace the files between each other, but I also didn’t get the result with a difference.

Once upon a time I also tried to recreate sims using miniatures and gmdc files, but I don’t have the same patience as you

I just rechecked Titania's file, and it seems she does have a different face in her files, but it's not super different or edited as much as the other ones. I uploaded this version just now. It was hard to tell, as it's not too different from her final appearance. She just used to have a longer chin and edited nose.

Hey. Thank you for the Sims. Was wondering if you were going to include Bottom as she was adopted and not born into the family...

This is more specific to the deceased SIMs who were missing their data. Bottom is playable without any issues so i don't feel any need to upload her or any of the other playables.
