Wonderful, thank you! I was hoping you'd look at these ever since I found your neon set.

All of your lights are must-download. Especially if they are neon. Thank you!

Omigosh @PineappleForest !! How did you make them give off the proper diffused light like that?
There are NO tutorials on that, anywhere! Would you be interested in writing one?

Thank you for your creativity and for sharing!

Hah, actually, I didn't use any special tricks
I wrote about how I did it here. I'm gonna paste it below, as google tends to ingore anything I posts there.

How to make neon rod add-ons:
It’s quite easy - you have to clone Uranium rod wall neon, which is already repositoried to Plutonium rod (the one with zig-zag thingy in the middle). SimPE will throw in a bunch of useless textures and TXMTs. All this can be deleted. Change the GUID and you have a working add-on.
The glowing bits will use Plutonium Rod textures - light patterns an issue here! It’s a tiny, crunchy zig-zag texture - you have to adjust your light-pattern mesh to use it.
That’s what stopped me from making add-ons for it before, when I didn’t know much about UVmapping.
Eventually I came up with a round lightpattern. It’s actually a round plane, UVs folded into pizza slice. If you'd like to make a floor neon rod add-on, feel free to use that one.
Note: to make a table lamp add-on, you'll have to recategorize your clone in OBJD and replace the BHAV/object functions (that's what I did to make it into a floor lamp).
The non-glowing subset can be repositoried to any TS2 object.

Ah, thank you!! Lights have frustrated me forever. I can get the object to -look- glowy, but getting them to project colored light... what a pain!
Thanks again!! I appreciate it =)
