Hello. I don't remember such a feature of that mod (turning sims into vampires without asking?). For me, both mods work fine together.
You might better try to see if the mod applies to werewolves and/or plantsims. If they don't transform instantly, then the mod is not working at all.
To give sims moodlets, you can use MasterController along with MasterController Cheats from NRaas.
