I've used several of your mods (horror books, tourist signs and t shirts) and have had success with them. (My Sims really enjoyed them!!) Not so with the acting career. I didn't install the NPC, though--does that matter? Immediately upon opening the game, I got an Exception. The report didn't say to report it to the creator as it had said for another mod in the past so perhaps I'm not supposed to write this here (apologies if that's the case). The BE report said there was "bad tuning" and to delete the mod and see if there was an update.... Thank you for creating this mod--I was finally looking forward to having Sims enter the acting career.

If you have all three sets of files (the mod, the posters, and the NPC) installed, it should work on both PC or mac (I have it working on both). After I got your message, I had a friend install all three and it's not producing an exception for him on his Mac.

The career mod does reference the NPC; I did not think his absence would cause an exception, but I did not TEST that. Please try installing the NPC and let me know whether that fixes the problem.

But I'm not able to replicate my program, either with my own computers (one PC, one Mac) or on those of friends (one with PC, one with Mac). Is there any information you can give me about the error you are getting?

I am very sorry it is not working for you. IS it not working for you? Because the exception notice you got was from MCCC, well, that likes to flag all sorts of things, even those that are working. Thanks! But ... is it working? My experience has been that "exception fnding" programs can be.... oversensitive.
