No, simlers core mod doesn't include fixes made by this mod, but if you want to play with this mod and with simlers core mod then install simlers core mod's version in the comments, otherwise install normal version without simlers core mod.

I installed it however the dashboard tool says that it conflicts with the core mod still?

Did you delete the file simler90GameplayCoreMod-UPDATE199.package(for the current last version of simler90's Gameplay Core Mod) in the Packages folder? If not, then delete it. The version posted in the comments already includes simler90's Gameplay Core Mod in it, that's why there's conflict.
