This is one of the most impressive mods I've seen for this game

• Some dialogues in Ambitions investigator missions were in very bad taste nowadays due to them resembling real-life conspiracy theories about COVID and the 2020 United States elections, so some words were changed to distance the missions from them. For instance, "pharmaceutical corporations" > "bribed food reviewers", "postal fraud" > "postal spam fraud", and the Ballot Buffoonery quest added mentions of exit polls.

Bloody Hell just seeing this and reading it out loud made me howl and belly laugh for over one minute. Im guessing youre not one of those people like me who is incredibly easily amused by 2010s media having an absurd plot about some Pharma Company or New World Order Cabal trying to take over the world through the use of a bio virus they cooked up in their kitchen, leading the protagonists to panic once they put the pieces together and say stuff like "The Spanish Flu of 1919 killed millions, and this is gonna be 10x worse!"? You know like in the BRITISH Channel 4 series Utopia (2013)? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utopia_(British_TV_series)
Good mod, but my god did that catch me off guard

I indeed find the whole situation very amusing too, but the game seemed to play it 100% seriously (as an EP made in 2010 would be unlikely to predict the world in 2020 and beyond), and I even feared the original quest texts could encourage a fair few conspiracy theorists who would theorethically decide to pick up TS3 again after a decade, so I figured, "Okay, let's make those quests a bit more up-to-date now in 2023-24 onwards."
