As far as I currently understand there isn't a way to port this career into a profession, however this career is compatible with Zerbu's Ultimate Career Mod. With Zerbu's mod you can assign a lot for your sim to work at and use objects to improve career performance instead of using the rabbithole. You may have to look into this mod and see if the tattoo chair object is available, though. You can find the updated version here.
