Love your story. My mother was born in 1918. The house reminds me of the one my grandparents lived in at the time. I love all your houses. I have a few on the gallery - user name is misslyndi if you want to check them out. Thanks.

Thank you. I miss all of the closeness of that period in my life as I am sure you do. I love the conveniences we currently have now but miss the family connections. I am getting maudlin in my old age. Will check out your homes. Thank you for letting me know.
