Downloaded and tested with all EPs installed. Doesnt seem to work with OFB or FFS. Not sure if its conflicting with any other mod which I have: InSIM, InTeen, DMA.

This is an awesome hack! I've just run into one problem with it.

I have Nightlive (only) and I downloaded the Daily Burgular, and I found out that if one of your sims gets into a car without an alarm at the same time that a burgular enters the lot, the burgular can steal the car WITH YOUR SIM IN IT. Thusly, they not only steal the car, but the Sim, too. The Sim will be shown still on the little family icon thing, but if you double click it, it won't shoot over to where the sim is. Is there any kind of fix for this? If there is, thanks. So far, I've just opted to not even letting my sims get into a car when its night. ^^;

Burglars get much worse in later EPs, so I'm not sure this really merits support for that. As for a burglars who carjack your sims, I consider that a feature rather than a bug. :D

This mod is really cool which adds full intensity to the gameplay of risks. Sometimes the daily burglars won't if the random appointed hours are 11:10 pm and 12:10 am the next day. It takes more than an hour for the polices to catch the burglars inside the big houses and there cannot be two burglars stealing on the same lot during the same period.

I installed the daily burglar mod and my sims who had the fortune aspirations were never hurted as long as the stealing tasks failed. Place your three most expensive items faraway from the front doors (such as on the third floor, because it takes a long time for the burglars to climb up the stairs), so the polices can catch the burglars before they even be able to reach.

Type "moveobjects on" in the cheat command textbox, place two hallow burglar alarms adjacent to the sidewalk, one on the left and one on the right, so the polices will arrive immediate after the burglars appear.

Sleeping hours and locations are the major issues whether the burglars come in the original game. If at least one of your sims is awake during the midnight (12:00 am to 2:00 am), or at least one of your sims sleep on the porch, balcony or foyer, then the burglars won't come.

Haha, this will be a peice of chocolate Irony for my Strangetown Police lot. It's a lot with 5 armed cops and an agressive German Sheperd. Did I mention I have 3 alarms and a cop car parked out front?

This particular method for burglar has long been made obsolete by Maxis. I should slap together something a little more compatible.
