Tartan is what a clan kilt is made of....a paterned cloth. There is even a tartan for Scot-Americans.....for those that can't trace back to their original clan.

Tarten is the name for Clan kilt I think of which there are many? I could be wrong Tarten could mean jus the pattern?

ok i come from scotland, and yes tartan is the pattern, but there is a specific pattern for each clan, and most people in scotland can trace their roots to a clan, dating back hundreds of years. anyhoo, i cant get over the fact that there is a kilt like that anywhere! i personally would never buy it, but it would be funny to see....

My main disappointment with the kilts (all of them not this one in particular) is their lack of pleating... I also wished there were fileadh-mhor(great kilt) and formal styles like the prince charlie jacket with a fur sporran and ghillies and the argyll jacket and event the montrose outfit! but i'm glad as it is that they have them within the game that certainly brightened my spirits when I bought it! i'd be interesting if they had tried doing all of the tartans lol!
