Hey Siren, thanks for making these available.

I found the textures....or rather I followed a trail of bread crumbs to get to them.

1) Do Moragues Tutorial on Unlocking Clothing but STOP after you have completed step 3
2) Make sure you have the file (in my case Resource Node: afAccesoryNecklace_cres) open in Plugin View. Go to the tab 'All References' in Plugin View. Click on Generic. The name of a file should be visible, it should be an assortment of numbers and letters and about halfway there should be the word Shape:. Click on this file.
3) There should be a little box called Values to the right of the file. Copy the writing/code in the 'Instance' field. It should be something like: 0xFF61A555
4) Below the 'Instance' field there is a directory listing. It will say: C:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\THESIM~1\tsdata\res\sims3d\Sims05.package
This is the location of the other package file that contains the file the 'Instance' number/letters was referring to.
5) Remember the location of the package file above. Find the file mentioned (In my case 'Sims05.package) and open it in SimPE.
6) When the package file is opened go to Window...Filter Resources and paste the 'Instance' number you copied previously. Press 'SET'. If you can see a file in the list of files that's good but if you can't then don't worry. If you can't see the file go to Window...Resource Tree. Now press on 'All Resources. The file should now appear. If not then the instance number is wrong and you need to start again.
7) Open the File that appeared. Open the Tab 'All References' in Plugin View. There will be three options - Generic, Subsets and Models. Open Subsets. There will now be a file or two (depending on how many colour options are available for the object, in my case for the necklace there is two). Press on one of the files and again copy the 'Instance' code. Read the location of the file.
(In this Case: C:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\THESIM~1\tsdata\res\sims3d\Sims02.package)
8) Find that file according to the location, like before. Open it in SimPE. Repeat step 6.
9) In Plugin View open the Tab 'All References'. There will be four options:
baseTexture, Generic, TXTR and stdMatEnvCubeTextureName.
Click on TXTR. Click on the file that appears. Again Copy the 'Instance' Number and look at the location of the file. Open the file in SimPE. Repeat step 6.

There we have it. A hell of a lot of following locations of files. This is the way I figured out (probably the most difficult and long). Hope it works for you. If the Texture file you get to at the end isn't what you wanted then just go back and choose another one when you had the two options in Step 7. For the Necklace I ended up with a reflection texture (which wasn't intended!) the first tiem but the other file is the proper one.

Hope this helps in anyway possible.

Thanks,

Jarad

Brilliant!!
And I'm only finding them now, hehehehe...^^^^
But they are cool! Interesting how Maxis comes up with ideas that designers come up with and we're all surprised...they must have fashion brains in there somewhere. The sartorial humour is to be expected but it's good that they can design jewellery (even if it doesn't work properly, which designers have managed to fix the problems of so it shouldn't be long)!
What's this jewellery box you speak of??
Thanks for uncovering this and I how you have fun and sort out the bellyring and all the other things!! ^^^^ :D
