I'm sooo glad to read that JWoods and his family are ok.

My prayers go out to all those who are suffering and grieving due to Katrina. I cannot imagine what they are going through.

Bob, Thank you!!! This was such a wonderful thing to do. I don't have the words to describe how this made me feel the other day when i finally had the chance to get on a computer. When I get the chance to get settled some where for good this will be the first object I come to download and save for the rest of my life. The kind words from all posted in this thread touched my heart as well.... Thank you everyone you are all like my family out here. You all should feel so good about who you are as you have lifted my family and I's spirits a bunch...
JWoods....

YAY! Jack is back!!! Bless you and your family Jack - so great to hear from you! I pray you all will find a good home somewhere that will be satisfactory to you and your family. My daughter and her hubby and baby lived in Lafayette, but had just moved to Canada barely a week before the storm. Lafayette, when we visited in June, was a quaint and very pleasant little area, if you wind up there by any chance. Do you think you are going to be able to stay close to your original home or are you having to move far away?

JWoods.... thank you! We are all so pleased to hear that you are all alive and well .

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that you'll still be in our thoughts over then next coming months (which I'm sure are going to be extremely difficult for you and your famliy).

We all wish you well, strength and happiness as you rebuild your lives.

I know how busy you will be but I'm sure that everyone would like to keep up to date with how things are going for you and your family, and the odd post (when you have time) would be welcomed by us all.

Our best wishes for the future,

Bob

I just heard about what JWoods and his family endured today and I feel awful for them. I am just overly relieved that he and his family are safe. I know people who live down in Florida and they were lucky enough to not be hit by the hurricane. Others were not so lucky as we all know...To you boblishman and the others who helped you, creating that site to help JWoods was a wonderful, heartfelt, and incredibly thoughtful thing of you to do. I hope that it raises a lot of money for JWoods and his family to help them get back on their feet. My prayers go out to JWoods and his family and to the other survivors and families of victims of Hurricane Katrina. May God watch over them and help them cope with this terrible disaster. Amen.

Welcome back JWoods! I as well as everyone else here am glad you and your family are safe and sound. All of us here love you, especially boblishman. I cannot believe the amount of love and heartfelt prayer he put into this piece and into the website he created. I'll be sure to tell my fellow Simmers to at least try to make a donation to you and your family to help you get back on your feet. I will even link to boblishman's site on my web site so others can see and find it. For now, it is good that you have somewhere to stay. My prayers and thoughts are still with you and your family even now and I hope you will be back on your feet soon. Lotsa love!, :baloons:
