I really like these skins. Though is there any chance of you releasing them not as defaults but as regular costum content? Cos I kinda like the original swimsuits too.

Someone else asked that a month or two back. My answer is still the same. No, I'm not going to make a second version, however, YOU can do it yourself! Download my versions and install (atleast the one that goes in the downloads folder). Then open up bodyshop and export my versions. This will create a CC copy. Import it back into your game (without editing it) and you will have it! Then go and delete my default version and you are back to having maxis stuff with mine as regular CC. Enjoy!

Quick question though: does this replace the elders' undies or their swimsuits?

Assuming you put both files in the correct place it will steal the three elder swimsuits from swimwear, hack them up into underwear, and then deposit them safely again in the underwear category. You will end up with 6 Underwears and I think 8 Swimwears when everything is all said and done. As opposed to 3 and 12(?).

^^ Hello! I love your default replacements, they're all wonderful. I use almost all of them in my game. I was wondering though - does the putting clothes into C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Bon Voyage\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins work on everything or just things specially for it? I don't want to break my game, but it would be cool to get the clothes to just show up randomly in townies.

The files that go in the bins folder just mess with your clothing catalog. They don't do anything else. If you put regular CC in there, they will not show up. There are separate files, and the only things that are supposed to go into the Bins folder (that I know of) are Property Sets and the like (if you don't use SimPE you will have no idea what I'm talking about, basically it is a file that says for this outfit go grab this mesh and that texture, its only part of the outfit). The actual textures and meshes still have to go in your downloads folder.

I love all your default replacements and have most of them in my game. I just grabbed these today and was checking through to make sure everything is showing up right. I put the folders in the correct places, but for some reason, the pink and yellow are showing up properly in the underwear section but the blue one is still in swimwear. I'm not sure what would cause that. The only thing different than what you have up there is that I put the file in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Free Time\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins since Free Time is my most recent expansion. I wouldn't think that to make a difference though. Sorry for such a long post. I just wondered if you have any ideas why the blue is in the swimwear section. Thanks!

Not sure what to tell you, I just checked mine and it works fine for me (though I'm not using the exact same mod I gave out, mine is combined with all the rest I've made). Do you have any other clothing catalog mods? FreeTime folder should be fine, I haven't moved mine yet, but if anything it should work better being in a more up to date folder.

Ok, I just moved it and got the same problem you did. Maybe one of the new career's (oceanography) uses it as work clothes? If thats the case we are in trouble, otherwise I'll make a mod up to move it. Try putting the package in a BV, in theory that shouldn't change anything, but give it a shot.

I put it in BV and it didn't work. So, since it's only one outfit and quite simple, I just exported it in Body Shop and put it back in as undies. Thanks though for checking it for me!

I cannot imagine anyone wearing these as swimwear, but that's just me. My elder ladies are few and far between. I have Lauren and Joan. My sister has Marisa and Lindsey. They are matriarcs of big families. Lauren has three sons, twenty grandchildren, and so far nineteen great-grandkids, but twelve of her grandkids aren't married yet. Joan has three children (two sons, one daughter), twenty-one grandkids, and sixteen great-grandkids, though fifteen aren't married yet, they got stopped up in college by a young lady who is betrothed to a young man (he just became a teen, but don't worry, they're just friends right now).
I love the stuff you do. I am only just now downloading them, but that is because I have been worrying about my sisters reactions to replacements. She freaked out when she saw the adult ladies PJ replacement (kind of what happened, not a dislike just surprise), but she got over it so I think I'm okay. Besides my sims wear these things too, and some of them they will be wearing more, because now I like them.

Well, since it's the last of your default replacements that I'm dowloading (I've already downloaded the rest of them!) then I'll say this for all your uploads - they're wonderful! =D I love your style much better than what we got in the base game >< Why are the originals so ugly? ;;

I also wanted to say that surprisingly, I didn't need to put anything in the .bin folder to make the new undies move into the undies section O.O Same for other downloads which required this... I put everything in the downloads folder and they work perfectly =3 I guess my computer is special then? XD

I just ignore the 'it does not go in the downloads folder, it goes in' part whenever I download them. Maybe it's 'cuz I'm lazy? I'm just like Usagi (Sailor Moon/Serena/Bunny in Japanese) back to topic: THANK YOU so much!!!

If you put them in your downloads folder opposed to where I've instructed them, your moved Maxis clothes will have a CC Star on them and they will have the Delete button enabled. If you click the delete button, there is a good chance you will corrupt your game.
