This is so pretty, not a huge star trek fan but thanks so much for this. It'll look just right in a story I'm doing.

Thank you, everybody! I'm thrilled to hear that you think it will work in so many different kinds of 'hoods, and not just Trek-themed ones. :lovestruc I actually made something that normal pe- I mean, non-Trekkers can use, yay!

darkwytche2006, if you do use it in a story that you post somewhere, I'd love it if you could send me a link - I always like to see my things "in action" so to speak.

Tee hee. I've been meaning to download this for days but kept getting sidetracked looking for "Medieval" things...I see that others share the view that this goes beyond Star Trek. While I am a huge Trek fan myself, this "medieval" state of mind I'm in absolutely loves this lamp as well!

Thanks for sharing this Nix!

Thank you, Steph - glad you like! I must admit I never thought my Vulcan lamp would be useful in a medieval setting as well, but I'm absolutely thrilled it is.

Great idea! My first thought was to sell this in my curio shop, but it is not placeable on OFB shelves and counters? That makes it a smidge difficult to sell...I could use the magisplay tray thingie. Just some feedback to ask you to consider those of us who want to sell these in our shops!

TIA!

Blaise Parker, I do say in the main post that "the lamp is placeable on all surfaces (except OFB shelves and counters)."

I did try to make it placeable on shelves, but I couldn't get it to work. If and when I can figure that out, I'll update the lamp - can't say when that will be, though.

But I'm glad you like it, and that your Sims would want to sell it (even if they can't right now)!

ETA: But now they can sell it; I finally found a tut that explained what the missing link was. The lamp has been updated accordingly.

and, from another Trekkers point of view, its absolutely gorgeous. and fits within the Vulcan traditional theme brilliantly. your attention to detail has not been overlooked. lol
