Hi
Love the stairs ....but I have been trying for the last 2 days to get them to show up in the game. I have double deluxe sims 2. I place eveything in the right folders I think but they never show up in build mode. I see them at the start of the game with other custom content. This is the path I take for the text C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Double Deluxe\Base\TSData\Res\Catalog\Scripts. I have a base folder, EP folder and a SP4 folder that all lead to scripts.....help please!

OK, Croc, I have a question, I saw picture number 2 and I loved it. I want to know if you can give me instructions on how to make that same house. Love the stairs, too!

Not a smiley. "nab" is a word, a verb. It means to acquire, take, grab, obtain, etc. It is four characters too short for the minimum message limit of seven characters, though, so I surround it with four colons, and the editor accepts it. It means that I downloaded the upload. `K?

You need to put the mesh in the downloads folder.

I cannot get the stairs to show up in the game. I've tried over 7 times. I go to C:/programfiles/EAgames/TheSims2/TSData/res/catalog/scripts/modularstairs text document and copy and paste the 2008 , 2009, 2010 text files at the very bottom of the modularstairs text document, and I put the .package files in my EA games downloads folder. But it still won't show up under build mode in the staircase sections. Can someone help me? Can you explain to me step by step. Lol. Thanks so much

I'm having the same exact problem! I've uninstalled and reinstalled them at least three times.

Okay, Scratch that. I used Scriptorium and put the text files (not the packages) into the proper folder. I (however) didn't understand they would show up as two DIFFERENT stairs, but they are there and that's all I care about!

These show up in my game perfectly, but for some reason will not show the recolors from the original numenor deck stair. Anyone else encounter this problem?

Hi, I'm not quite sure where to put these with the UC, since there is no EA Games folder since it was through Origin.
I was putting it in Fun With Pets/SP9 and all that... but it wasn't showing up in my game (yes, I have the packages in my downloads).
Any ideas?

Hi! I know it's a really long time since someone posted in this tread, but I need to try at least I triend to copy the text to the scripts folder, but it wont allow me to save. I try to save, it asks me if I want to replace, I said yes and then my damned computer tells me "access denied". Why would it do that to me?

I've been trying to figure this out. I have since added the The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection to my PC and has been playing. But I've noticed that things aren't working accordingly and I hope to get some help from someone here that knows what to do. I have Numero's Scriptorium installed on my PC for my TS2 game and while using the auto install, the folders/files are placed in the Double Deluxe/Base part of the game. When reading where to put the files for the stairs to work with scriptorium, it's instructed to put them in the Pets Collection/EP9 folder etc...I guess I would need to know where to officially install the Scriptorium for the these stairs to work properly? I was going to move all the folders and files to the Pets Collection folder but It was a prompt to over write a foundation file. I'm not too familiar with things being over ride as I don't want to mess nothing up. If someone has more info and can help, I would love you forever.
