you can get shaklin's medicine cabinet by searching shaklin and cliking on the first result on google. (its in german so switch the language to english using a little union jack flag shaklin has put as a link to the english version)

I really loved this product, but since installing pets, I had to remove it because I couldn't change my pets appearance. Are you going to update it for pets?

it's a good object, i actually didn't have to pay for it in buy mode for it to affect all my mirrors. the only problem is that in pets it taked away the option to put pet collars on your furry friends so i had to get rid of it. wouldn't want one of my furries to run away and not be able to get it back because i couldn't put a collar on it

got same problem, and since it seems no one is going to update this hack, the only thing you can do is removing the hack, putting the collars on and then put the hack back..

I am sad to tell that it have a major issue...
It removes the "change apperence on pet" from maxis mirrors (or overrides it).
Could not give my pet its new collor on untill I removed this.
would be great if it could be fixed, so it dosent overwrite, cuz i really enjoyed having it

keep up the good work it'd be fab if you could find the time to make a couple o cures as opposed to immunity....not that am complaining...love it

It dosen't work for me. I have a mac, is that why? When i click on a mirror nothing special shows up.

Don't put in Downloads folder
This is an old thread but THANK GOD for this mod. After literally years of dealing with Sims getting sick, getting their family member sick, getting better, then getting the SAME cold or flu again (that's not realistic ... adaptive immunity bro!), this mod has come to the rescue. Can't believe I didn't search for it years ago.

Anyways, don't put it in your Downloads folder. Put it in your "Bins" folder of your latest EP. You can tell which is the latest EP by which CD you need to run the game. The instructions for where exactly this Bins folder is are in the "Installation Instructions" tab. However for Mac it is wrong:

Instead of:
Mac: APPLICATIONS FOLDER -> THE SIMS 2 -> TSDATA -> RES -> CATALOG

This is where it was for me
Macintosh HD > The Sims 2 > Expansion Packs > Pets (my latest EP) > TSData > Res > Catalog > Bins
Throw it in there
Yes it will make the "change pet's appearance" option disappear, but I don't give a dang about that junk.

Hope this helps someone else who is still playing Sims 2 fifteen years after it was released.

The interaction shows when the sims aren't sick.. When they are sick the interaction doesn't show.
