This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Finally! After hours of painstaking work and annoying problems along the way I have finally created these elegantly cuved and hancrafted mirrored staircases with railings.

Recolorable and multiple combinations for the stairs and rails.

Note For The For More Savey Users
If you choose to recolor the stairs for your liking-the rails are listed as walls which is what needs to be recolored if youd like to change the railings. I deleted the railing MAT textures for the railings but meshed the new railings from the walls.

Also: Sims do not walk around the curvature of the stairs, but can walk up in a straight line where the slots require. They ARE sim accesable but will walk in mid air for some of the action/animation.

Polygon Counts:
Both-2069

Additional Credits:
Very Special Thanks to Numenor for helping me through the annoying problems that occured during the process.

Also: Thanks to the community for bothering me enough to make stairs with railings!

Perhaps you can see if Marvine (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=249237) would be able to properly animate these stairs for you.

I love those stairs! Hope you or someone else will get them animated properly soon. BTW, where is the chandelier from? I have been looking for that kind of chandelier for a long time... Your chadelers are awesome, but they are far too modern for my Victorian homes.

Beautiful! Forget polygons!
I came here thinking how nice it would be to see a curved stairwell for the home I'm building for my sims, and here it is!

That's a pretty set too! Can't wait for the rest of your creations!
