This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Ummm, I think you uploaded the wrong zip, 'cause I'm getting televisions in my game and not ceiling fans (although I do love these tv-looking ceiling fans) lmao Just wish I could have the great ones in these pics, too...

Great mod, but for me the grandma fan does not rotate like the others do. Also the tri-wind fan occasionally has issues where it flashes visible and invisible. Does anyone else have these problems? I would really enjoy using these great fans for my Sims. Thanks

Can we just install these without the mod? Or could you also make a non-animation version of these fans? I ask, because I don't really any extra animations on my computer; I don't know if it'll make my game run harder than it already does. But your fans are just so beautiful, and I don't have any fans in my game, and I wouldn't mind just having these as decor/light objects that just hang there looking pretty.

Hmmmmm, I'm not sure if the blades would show without the mod. And the light definitely wouldn't work. But that's Ok. Since by default these are still like you want. You have to manually turn them on. Go get the Mod and make sure to look at the post and you'll se you can have these, with light, standing still.

The grandma's old fashion isn't working, but all others are. Issue is that the blades won't turn on. I turn it on but it doesn't move.

Minor aesthetic criticism on the fans - you have the blades tilted the wrong way, which on a real fan when spinning in an anti-clockwise motion like these do would cause the air to be sucked up to the ceiling, rather than be blown down into the room.

Other than that, these look great!
