Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
As a contrast to my latest uploads, I wanted to do something a bit less "in your face", so here it is; a very standard, very average suburban house. These can be found in many, many parts of the United States, so I think many of you will be familiar with the shape! The front features two superfluous gables with large windows, and a double garage. The sides are windowless, so that the neighbors won't peek.

The main floor has the kitchen, dining room, family room, bathroom and garage.
The second floor has three bedrooms, one spare room and two bathrooms.

The yard is nicely landscaped and features a patio and a tiny shed.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

I was looking for beige and boring. Really. You've done a really good job with capturing US Beige and Boring Suburb, too.

Would you believe these are my favorite types of homes? I literally can walk down the street and find a whole neighborhood that looks just like this - and I love it! Thank you so much for uploading this. It's almost like you said "Here, Rockstar, for you." *squees*

Sometimes you don't want big and flashy - sometimes you just need something for your neighborhood. Thanks!

I've been using this house in game for a few weeks now and I love it so much. Nice and simple, as well as compact, and the size of the bedrooms (as well as how they're laid out) works really well for lots of different configurations. I've been trying to find a new home for the family that's currently living there (five kids plus a daycare centre is leaving them just a little bit squeezed for space) and I just can't find a house that suits them better. Great job!
