Introduction
Welcome to 17 Lakehill Drive, a rustic & luxurious home for your adventurous sim families. This is intended to be a very woodsy vacation-type home. It was loosely modeled after this house plan. There are two versions of this lot: Furnished (decorated) and Unfurnished (undecorated). If you don't like to decorate, get the Furnished version. If you like to decorate, get the Unfurnished version.

Requirements:
This lot requires Nightlife and University.

This home features:

I’d like to thank a few people for providing build tutorials that helped me to construct this home:

Custom Content:
This lot has no hacks, but a few pieces of custom content in BOTH versions:
-roddyaleixo’s Invisible Driveway & Extensions
- “Mod the Sims 2 Water” terrain paint, created by myself
In the furnished version, the file also contains:
- “Shower tub, white curtain”, which is a simple shower curtain recolor of the Maxis Colonial ComboCleen shower/tub shower curtain. The shower curtain recolor was made by myself (because I don’t like the Maxis shower curtains – sorry!).

These ladder and diving board recolors make the lake much more realistic than the Maxis originals!

Additional Info
This lot features a driveway that goes uphill. Right now, the Maxis animations for driveways do not compensate for an uphill slope. Therefore, vehicles traveling uphill or downhill appear to “hop” along the incline of the driveway. This is a known issue, will most likely never be fixed unless Maxis decides to fix it themselves.

About rar Files
I don't upload zip files because they are literally twice as large as rar files (when compressing Sims2Pack files, which is what lots are packaged in), so they take twice as long to download and use twice the server resources that rar files do.

Just download a free tool that opens rar files. Then you can download as many rar files that you want -- there are THOUSANDS of amazing downloads that are only available in rar format. It's silly to pass up on them just because you're afraid to get rar extraction tool. There's nothing to be afraid of ....
