Thanks for replying Numenor

It only happens when I pick the counter with the cupboard in it, the unit with all drawers seems to be fine with both custom and maxis sinks but the unit with the cupboard doors won't accept either

Thanks

NEWS AND UPDATES
---------------------------------------------------------

16 JULY 2007 - UPDATED: No-trim counters (now sink-friendly)

There was a bug in the "doors" version of the counter that prevented it to accomodate sinks (the bug didn't affect the "drawers" counter). Now the problem is solved; the new version is included in the archive "WayCoolinarySet_Counters+Island.rar", downloadable from post #1 (or directly from this LINK.

Thank you Aliwag for pointing out the problem, we are surprised that no one so far noticed it...
The bug affected only the "doors" version because - if you notice - the original Maxis counters, when you place a sink on them, always turn to the drawers version: you can't have a Maxis counter with doors and a sink on its top.
We had to rebuild from scratch a "doors+sink" module that didn't exist in the original counter, and apparently we made some mistake, the first time; but now the problem is solved, and we can finally have any sink mounted over the "doors" counter :D

If you need to contact us, PM directly to "Numenor" or "MaryLou".

You have 3 lovely kitchen fixes to the Maxis content (Way Cool Counter Culture & Chez Moi) and I have 1 dumb question- is the mod download the same so I just do one of them or do I download and install all 3?

Please be patient while I learn the finer shades of meaning in MTS speak. I'm not completly up to the the lingo and so I confuse easily: Instruction say "global mod" each mod file has a seperate name.

I sometimes wish I had a help menu to look up these strange words y'all use. I'ld like to follow what you say. Do you hae a thread for that?

And thank you for being the smart ones who create all these lovelies!

Is there any chance that you will "fix" the Maxis counters to enable sink-on-doors to work? Sinks over doors make more sense to me than sinks over drawers, unless the drawers are facades.

I`d also like to second Aetherthe`s question: Do we need all three Global Mods if we download all three sets, or do all three Global Mods do the same thing?

Sinks can only be placed over a "drawers" counter because the upper part (roughly, 1/3) of the front side must turn to a fixed wooden panel; there would be no room for a door under the wooden panel (unless we reduce doors to 2/3 of their height, but this would made the animations horrible to see). For this reason, no Maxis door counters can accomodate a sink.

I've finally started my Journal. Information only, no questions.

These are so cute thank you! Just wonder what the collections file is? Why does it say "Do No(t) put in Downloads folder"?? I DLed anyway cause it was there and it IS a package file.. So where should it go? Does it serve a purpose? *confused*
