Hi everyone...
I'm a huge fan of Kubrick's films and saw a few movie posters of his floating about the site, but I didn't find the ones I liked best. I decided to try my hand at recoloring... thankfully there are some EXCELLENT tutorials available here! I'm really quite nervous about posting these as they are my first attempts, but I'm hoping for feedback; however, I've thin skin so be nice, please! Instead of saying, "Wow, those are AWFUL!," please say, "Good effort... those are AWFUL!"
I wasn't sure how to group them and tried several different ways and finally decided to group them by movie. There are *gasp* 19 of 'em, so I hope you like at least one of the group!
The taller-than-wide ones are from "The Lady on Red." The wider-than-tall are from "Poisonous Forest (In Love With a Curse)."
They are, in no particular order other than their groupings:
Three from 2001: A Space Odyssey;
Two from Barry Lyndon;
Two from A Clockwork Orange;
Two from Eyes Wide Shut;
Two from The Shining;
Two from Lolita;
Two from The Killing.
Singles of the following movies:
Dr. Strangelove [...], Full Metal Jacket and Spartacus.
Lastly, there's a single poster with Kubrick's name and small pictures of posters from several of his movies.
