Natural Redhead Project: All-age Recolors of Rose Sims2 Loose, Upswept Hair

Three red recolors and six other colors of the wonderfully layered, loose, upsweept hair mesh by Rose Sims2. I used Rose's textures but the alphas have also been edited to remove two small irregularities.

The upswept style comes in child through elder. The toddler hair is the Maxis chin length cut with bangs. I recolored the toddler hair to match the other ages' color.

These recolors were done for the Natural Redhead Project to make more hairstyles available in the many beautiful naturally occurring shades of red hair. The red recolors are available in four shades: auburn, bright copper and ginger and there is also a natural shade of brown. My recolored elder hair comes in two shades: the brown has a silver brown and the red shades come with a silver beige. The five original shades that come with the mesh are also available with my edited alphas. The recolors are all color binned.

During the recoloring, I noticed two small irregularities in the alpha that I adjusted: a cleft in the blue barrette and a dab of color on the left nape of the neck. I have included the original colors with the edited alphas to remove these minor annoyances. The elder shade with the original colors is an attractive silver gray. The orignal colors are color binned and the deep mauve (purple brown) shade is binned brown.
