One of the most popular breeds, the versatile GSD has been used in police work, rescue work, and as guides for the blind, just to name a few. It originated in Germany in the 1800s as a herding dog. White GSDs are not permitted in the show ring. Although short-haired GSDs are most preferred, long-haired versions are still being produced today.

P.S. The GSD is my favourite breed, so naturally I had to make my own version of them, as the one Maxis made doesn't look that good. I made it as realistic as possible in dedication to this wonderful breed :3
