As much as I like Liz Taylor, she's only Hollywood royalty. Cleopatra VII WAS Royalty. Egypt's final Pharaoh. A Shakespearean inspiration. A lover. And now, a Sim.
In creating her Highness, I thought I would need tons of meshes. Not true. I pulled an all-nighter snipping and pruning her wig (Factoid: Most ancient Egyptian wore wigs). I knew my history, but I didn't want it to look too much like a wig. I also wanted a head ornament of some kind. And believe it or not, I got one! Thank's to a lot of barbering, and a ton of recolor.
The second step was a little difficult, but not much. I had to create a period top without violating any decency laws (Another Factoid: Ancient Egyptian's were not as finicky toward exposed breasts as we are. In fact, come of their garment reveal one, part of, or the entire breast.) Finally, the wrap around dress; and that was easy.
I need sleep. Plus I wanna enjoy the weekend. Hope you like!
