Hollywood Wall Facades

Early Hollywood, during the 1920's, was far from the Hollywood today of numerous studios, expensive shops and enormous homes. Los Angeles was an up and coming City, but outside the city limits many of the towns we know of now as Beverly Hills and Brentwood, were no more then cow pastures and working ranches. Hollywood houses were those that could be built quickly and roughly to give new starlets, directors, producers, and up and coming stars places to live near the studios. In an attempt to make abodes live up to thier careers as they climbed the ladder of success, wall facades were applied to mimic the marble and stone walls of more expensively built homes. The idea came from the marvelous set designs and there temporary ability to decorate a stage to look like anything or anyplace. Greek, Roman and Eygptian colums and walls were most popular as were curtain coverings. Wall Facades are a cheap way to glamourize any room!

These are not wallpapers but actual 3D facades. They will fit tightly against your walls and when viewed from the back with the drop wall selected will drop (hide) out of your way. These facades were made to match columns by Maxis so that it will enhance your decorations.





You may recolor, include these in lots (except those uploaded to the exchange) and edit the meshes as long as credit is given.
