SCREENSHOTS
Hi. I call this set of eyes the “Basics Series” because it contains a basic set of eye colors in different ranges of colors and values. There are sixteen different eye colors to choose from and they’re aptly named: Violet, Stormy, Steel, Sea Foam, Plum, Ocean, Moss, Ice, Hazel, Green, Gray, Gold, Coal, Brown, Blue, and Aqua.
I created the eyes by opening the Maxis blue eye file in Photoshop 7, marking where the eye was positioned on a separate layer, and then deleting the Maxis layer. After that, I painted the eye from scratch and recolored/leveled for the various color and value changes. My goal was to make them clear, colorful, and focused.
I know sea foam, ocean, and steel look indistinguishable here, but in the game you can see the differences; Ocean is darker, sea foam is slightly more vibrant and steel is slightly grayed.
Also, the icons for these are dated 07 because I did them last year. I lost all the .psd files for both the eyes and the icons in a hard drive crash, so I couldn’t recreate them, and exporting loses quality, so I decided to leave them “as is”.
Thanks for downloading!

Miscellaneous Information
Hi, I’m Cole. I’m no expert when it comes to creating custom content, but I’ve been playing the Sims since the first one, and I also know my way around Sims PE, so I’m no novice to the actual Sims world. I started making content because I love seeing how things work; one day when I was in Bodyshop and saw that button, I had to see what it did. My main hobby is art, though, which you can view here: http://www.nikki-marie.deviantart.com.
All the content I submit, I paint with a tablet and either Painter 7, Photoshop 7, or a combination thereof. I have loads of creations, but I’m still tweaking them, so for now, I’ll just submit eye and skin sets. Later, I may submit some Sims, makeup, pets, and houses because the ones I’ve created of those will be easier to adjust with my limited time. Alas, time is not something dedicated college students apparently have. :)
Anyway, if anybody would like to use my custom content in your pictures or for your created Sims, I won’t have a problem as long as you credit me and send me a link. Also, make sure you only submit to free sites. But please don’t recolor anything; that’s what I like to do :).
