Zooey Claire Deschanel was born in Los Angeles, Ca on January 17th, 1980. She is an American actress and has appeared in films such as: Elf, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Winter Passing and Surf's Up. In addition to acting, Deschanel has picked up singing on the way. She made her debut album called, Volume One with M. Ward, which will be released in Mid-March of 2008.
